Nadia Whittome, MP for Nottingham East has today met with the British Business Bank to discuss the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. 

Nadia Whittome said: 

“It was great to join MPs from across the region to discuss how the Midlands Engine Investment Fund is supporting smaller businesses. Local jobs and businesses will be central to the post-COVID economic rebuild here in Nottingham, and it is important that the Midlands is not left behind in terms of funding and growth. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have written to government minsters on a number of occasions to push for greater support for local businesses, the self-employed and SMEs and I will be taking further steps in the upcoming days and weeks”.
